BRYAN — Williams County commissioners are running out the clock on a potential Ohio Supreme Court appeal, delaying action on a permit request to construct a waterline originally intended for an AquaBounty facility in Pioneer.

The commissioners adjourned their meeting Tuesday morning without reaching a decision on the permit request, pushing the agenda item to an undetermined date. Commissioners and county staff wheeled in extra chairs to accommodate the several dozen attendees that filled the large conference room.
