A recent study from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) found water loss at wells in Williams County were likely caused by an irrigation system at a nearby farm.

ODNR representatives held a meeting Tuesday night where they detailed the data behind their research into the conflict, which began in 2022. Four property owners submitted complaints about decreased water levels in their wells, and blamed an irrigation system from nearby Zeedyk Farms, located in the area of County Road 15 and U.S. 6.
